I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Thirsty Scholar, and it exceeded all my high expectations. The rooms were meticulously refurbished, offering a delightful blend of comfort and modern amenities. I particularly appreciated the superb heating, which ensured a cozy atmosphere throughout my stay, and the electric kettle provided on-site was a thoughtful touch for a late-night cup of tea. The intimate proximity to local eateries, like Choy Hung House and Red Chillis, added to the convenience, allowing me to indulge in great food without venturing far. the warm hospitality from Adele and her staff made me feel welcomed, and the hearty breakfast each morning was a superb way to start my day. This experience was undoubtedly a rarity, and I highly recommend the Thirsty Scholar for anyone seeking comfort, quality, and a touch of history in their travels.
